The Study On The Development Of Village Bank In Guangzhou City

Village banks，through their seven years’ development from scratch，have made asignificant contribution to China’s rural area on the improvement of new financial system，thelevel and quality of financial services and financial environment. But the overall developmentof village banks in our country is not balanced with some showing the problems likeimperfect management，not strictly internal control，low level risk control and misdirection onagriculture-supporting service. In general，the ability of sustainable development of villagebanks in China need to be improved. It’s worth thinking how village banks in Guangzhou，thenew financial strength of Guangzhou rural area，take the advantage of its own good financialplatform and national policy to explore a town bank development model with Guangzhoucharacteristic in the struggle of short development history and intensive competition.According to the development of Guangzhou village banks，this paper has made a deepdiscussion and analysis of the general situation，system status，initiating condition andbanking situation on them. At first，this paper has made an analysis of Guangzhou villagebanks respectively in advantage，disadvantage，opportunities and challenges with the use ofSWOT analysis method，which is followed by a matrix analysis. Then it has drawn the basicexperience and revelation through comparative analysis of the operation mode，operatingcharacteristics and development strategy of village banks at home and abroad.Finally，it has put forward suggestions to promote the sustainable development ofGuangzhou village banks from the aspects of government，banks，customers and the society，This paper has worked as a theoretical and practical guidance for promoting thedevelopment of Guangzhou village banks，meanwhile，it has also played an importantpractical role for the optimization of the rural financial market in Guangzhou and theharmonious development of urban economy.
