Now, with the socio-economic development, the use of quality control in the production technology is very important, it can not only protect the interests of the manufacturer, but only can protect the interests of consumers. The acceptance sampling is an important method of quality control.In reliability analysis of the product, using the distribution of product life to describe reliability of product is a major way, therefore, to find a reasonable distribution and make sure that it can accurately describe the product life is very important. It can make more accurate scientific analysis of product reliability. In this paper, we analyze the acceptance sampling plans based on truncated life tests for EIG distribution and log-EIG distribution. Among them, mean of product life is tested in the acceptance sampling plans based on truncated life tests for EIG distribution, while median of product life is tested in the acceptance sampling plans based on truncated life tests for log-EIG distribution.Specific research paths in this paper are as follows:First, analysis and theoretical explanations of statistical properties of EIG distribution and log-EIG distribution.Second, according to the relevant analysis, we calculate the minimum sample size required for the acceptance sampling plans, OC functions and the relationship of relevant parameters that can ensure the producer’s risk does not exceed a certain value. In the end, results are analyzed, and the role and significance of some special value are explained.Third, using the specific data to make an applicable example for acceptance sampling plans.Of course, though we get some results from this paper, there are also some disadvantages in this paper. In order to facilitate research, we simplify some theoretical analysis and some parameter values in this paper. All of these should be improved in the future. Theory of product life tests and acceptance sampling plans in our country is still great potential for development. Compared with study abroad, in the domestic, there are few study to product life tests based on new distribution. We will study acceptance sampling plans for some new distribution in next paper.
