Research On Development Strategy Of GS Securities Company Based On The Theory Of Value Chain

With the double pressures of constant openness of domestic securities service market, together with China’s depressed stock market, the competition in securities industry constantly intensified. Thus, how to make a success in such competition is an important issue facing every securities company. This paper mainly studies the GS Securities Company and conducts a comprehensive diagnosis by using SWOT analysis method. Meanwhile, the author designs the development strategy of the company and introduces the strategy based on the Value Chain theory into the future development of the company. This paper, moreover, explores the potential difficulties, problems and risks during the process of new strategy implementation, and puts forward relevant solutions.The first part of this paper relies on the financial markets and Securities Companies, and takes Value Chain and strategic management as the key words to search the related literature comprehensively.
