The Study On Influence Factors To Chinese KIBS Export Trade Structure Change

Abstract:Trade in Knowledge-intensive business services with knowledge is becoming the most important composition and hot competition of international trade in services. In recent years, import and export volume of our knowledge-intensive service trade are increasing year by year, but there is an irrational structure exists in the structure of export trade. Therefore, we must find out the factors to optimize export structure of knowledge-intensive service trade.The knowledge intensive services are business services which based on the high quality human capital as the main body, High knowledge content、High technology content、High innovation、High interactive content and high value-added content. And the KIBS industry is divided into six categories:Communication services, insurance services, financial services, computer and information services, Royalties license fees and consulting. Combined with previous research results, This article analyze knowledge-intensive service trade structure optimization mechanism of six factors including level of economic development, the actual use of foreign direct investment, human capital stock, knowledge-intensive services trade openness, technological advances and physical capital stock. Obtaining through descriptive analysis of knowledge-intensive services exports, the sector, which have strength and training are computer and information services and consulting.One the basis of China’s relevant data from1997to2011, this paper using unit root test, stepwise regression, heteroscedasticity and autocorrelation test methods to do empirical analysis of six structure optimization factors. The results show that:The factors that significantly impact the proportion of computer and information services exports are: Level of economic development, human capital and physical capital stock; The factors that significantly impact the proportion of Consulting service are Level of economic development, the actual use of foreign direct investment and human capital; and The factors that significantly impact the proportion of Consulting and computer and information services are Level of economic development, the actual use of foreign direct investment, human capital and physical capital stock.
