The rapid advances in science and technology has profoundly changed the survivalmode and lifestyle of human. The relationship between technology and people is moreand more showing the obviously trend of convergence. This phenomenon is calledCyborg by western scholars. Cyborg technology get into every aspect of modern life,making us almost become a ‘Cyborg’. American scholar Donna Haraway’s CyborgIdeology and Its Meaning of Communication conducted in-depth study and discussion.Donna Haraway is a famous feminist theorist and philosopher of technology, but alsothe well-known contemporary western interdisciplinary humanities scholars. Her Cyborg,postmodern feminism,’contextual knowledge’ theory or even ideological influence in theWest, and her "Declaration on Cyborg" has been regarded as ‘Bible’ by a lot of scholars.In the rapid development of science and technology, Haraway re-evaluate the stage of thehuman subject. She believes that science and technology occupy the status of theprotagonist, and become the contributing factors of modern human consciousnessrupturing and the possibility of potential liberation. Thus, Haraway extends the originalconcept of ‘Cyborg’, becoming a break to find out the method of metaphor of the nature/culture boundaries, blurring the boundary between the main object and the subject.Haraway’s post-humanism provides a new perspective for the study of post-modernism.Cyborg as the control technology and cyberspace, virtual experience in theinformation age, is a multi-expanding network technology, now information culture mediadevelopment is inseparable with Cyborg. Haraway reminds us to pay attention to someimportant issues of contemporary social change,"Cyborg" as a source of socialimagination, reflecting our social and physical reality. Exposure to the digital informationage, Cyborg virtual experience for exploring human communication technology, mediainformation, and other aspects of popular culture offers new possibilities. The cyberspaceunder cyber technology constructs a huge information network, the vagueness of Cyborgprovides people with new possibility of social identity construction, while expandingCyborg achieve a diverse people-fusion machine, it is an extension of technology onhuman. From the narrative point of view, Cyborg beyond its original semantic category,contacts with other narrative forms movies, games, etc. and forms a new text, so as toconstruct a Cyborg myth. Re-sort Haraway’s Cyborg thought and study its implicationCommunication Studies, is the study of the spread of new vision.
