Research On Generation Companies Cash Flow Under The Premise Of Sustainable Development

Cash is the blood and living foundation of corporation. To analyze and judge the overallcondition of the cashflow comprehensively and systematically has vital practical significance tothe enterprise and the information users. Along with the understanding of the important status ofcash, the idea that cash is king has been accepted widely. However, the analysis is not yetmature and lack of a recognized index system(especially combined with the characteristics ofthe industry and the sustainable development). All these pointed out the direction for us indeeping studying.Power generation enterprises cash flow frequently so that the analysis is even moreimportant. This thesis combine cashflow and sustainable development; Based on sustainabledevelopment and sustainable development of financial theory the definition of thermal powerenterprises for sustainable development be proposed. On the basis of theoretical arguments andstatement of cash flows, build the cashflow evaluation model based on sustainable development.Paper selected45listed power enterprises verage data in2011-2012as a sample, introducingother related factors and applying the model. Disaggregated statistical according to the stateparameters of the model and analyzed the total cash flow of listed power enterprises and putforward own views and suggestions for improvement.Studies have shown that: Overall power generation enterprises cashflow in good conditionsand most have the ability to incremental cash from operating activities; It also can be seen thatcash flow from operating activities and financing activities contribute to the overall relativelylarge in China’s listed power companies, while cash flows from external investment activitiescontribute to the overall cash flow is smaller.
