The Empirical Study On Interregional Divergence Of Financial Development In The Six Provinces Of Mid-china

Since the strategy of Rise of Central prospered,the central region’s rapid economicdevelopment has entered a new stage,and narrowing the gap gradually between thecentral region and the east region. Financial development has inevitably receivedprominence in the the rise of central region.But six provinces of Mid-China havedeference in financial development.In this dissertation,six provinces’ different financialdevelopment situation and its change tendency,comprehensively evaluating about thelevel of financial development and so on.Firstly,analysis financial differences situation of the central region on economic baseof regional financial development,regional financial scale,regional financialstructure,regional financial efficiency and the development level of banking,insuranceand securities.Secondly,use the variation coefficient and the Theil index to estimates the regionalfinancial differences in order to reveal the structure and trends of regional financialdifferences in the central region.The following convergence inspection about FIR of sixprovinces found that,even though each province has difference financial developtrends,the regional financial differences show overall narrowing trend.And select82cities as sample in the central region,based on8indicators using Factor Analysis toanalysis the level of financial development.And divides the echelon of financialdevelopment divergence of the cental provinces and cities using Clustering analysis.Thirdly,analysis the causes of the regional financial differences in the view ofregional economic development,physical geography factor, policy factors.Finally,based on the related theory and empirical analysis give foursuggestions.Including considering the regional differences to establish the multi-levelfinancial organizations system,cultivating the region finance developmentgrowing,promoting the financial ecological environment creation.
