The Research Of Technical Efficiency And Influencing Factors In Electronics And Communications Industry

Abstract:Electronic and communications industry as knowledge, technology-intensive industries has rapidly developed into the golden period since80’s, and skips into the pillar industry of national economy in recent years. However, the globalization promotes the resources integration in industry,and with the over-expansion of industry causes the whole profit of the enterprise in the industry diluted.Technical efficiency represents the enterprise management ability of resources, technology.So by the analysis of the influence factors of technical efficiency in electronic and communication industry thereby indirectly researching resource management ability of industry enterprise has been pretty vital significant.This paper firstly introduces the research background and significance of this paper, and then summarizes the present status of technical efficiency in industry and the theory of technical efficiency, influencing factors theory in technical efficiency.Then it uses DEA to calculate the technical efficiency of71listed companies in the industry, and analyze the technical efficiency; Next, from the selection of the value chain theory this study research the influence factors of technical efficiency in industrous enterprises and establishes a influencing factors model and with weighted least squares regressing the factors inside. Finally it comes to the main research conclusions:(1) the main influencing factor of electronic and communications industrous enterprise is the low level of scale efficiency;(2) the influencing factors of industry value chain chose shows a link to technical efficiency in electronics and communications industry; so companies can start from the enterprise value chain of each link and put an emphasis to improving their technical efficiency.
