The construction of logistics park has a very important positivesignificance to one city, such as, the economic development, the transportation and thecirculation channels construction and so on.First, this paper introduces the concept, classification and functions of logisticspark and the current theory of logistics park development research; Second, this paperintroduces the mature experience of the developed country about logistics park, mainlyintroduces the operation experience of Japan and Germany. According to the thirdnational logistics park (base) investigation report, this paper instruction operationalproblems of logistics park construction in our country; The third, this paper usingexponential smoothing prediction method, multiple regression prediction method, grayprediction method and combination forecast method of the three methods to forecast theurban road freight volume in theory and practical application aspects. Fourth, make surethe main logistics varieties in order to make a proper debate and research of the optimalstation quantity of the logistics park.The predict a city the size of the highway freight volume is indispensableprecondition for highway logistics park planning and the main basis to determine theoptimal stand volume of road logistics park; The research of optimum stand volume wasmainly to ensure the main logistics varieties and also a basic premise to park operatorsto make park development strategy planning and function layout. This paper base on thebackground of Chongqing Highway Logistics Park and combined with the city’shighway freight volume and logistics project development planning of chongqinggovernment, through the combination of qualitative analysis with quantitative analysis,forecast the highway freight volume of logistics park in2012,2015and2020.Accordingto the main logistics varieties allowed to be transport to highway logistics park anddetermines the stand volume, finally according to the reality of the park and put forward the development recommendations.
