Research On The Interaction Between Port Economic Development And Border City Expansion

China has land border of more than2.2kilometers,long and curved,and borders14countries.Along with the national open border policy and international economicand trade cooperation, the development of these direct contact with adjacent to thenational border area and a special geographical value more and more research andattention.As the centre of political, economic, social in border areas, border city`sdevelopment level is directly related to the degree of development in borderareas.Border trade is an important part of economic system for the border city, inmore than30border city of our country main of gradually forming a border, theborder trade is based on the form of economic system--the port economy.Porteconomy in a certainscope and period of time in the border city of social economicdevelopment plays an important effect.This paper aims to establish the index model,analysis of the main factors, the border city social economic development provides amore practical and operable countermeasures.This thesis is divided into6chapters, the specific contents of each chapter are asfollows:The first chapter: introduction. Mainly introduces the background of choosing thetopic, research status at home and abroad, research significance, research ideas,research methods etc.The second chapter: the overview about the connotation, the border city and cityexpansion of port economy. Analysis and research of the location theory, theagglomeration economic theory, spatial interaction theory and international tradetheory, domestic, foreign scholars on the border trade, the port economy and cityexpansion research to explore the border city of significance for the development ofport economy based on.The third chapter: research and development on the relationship between China’sborder and border city. The development process of China’s border economic review,formation mechanism, spatial distribution and development pattern to the border cityare discussed and summarized in this paper.The fourth chapter: Research on the interaction mechanism between port economyand city expansion. Through the analysis of the border port city of four types ofrelationship between the hinterland, and port, port economy on the linkage effects ofcity expansion, correlation analysis model of city expansion index system and thedevelopment of port economy relations.The fifth chapter: in the border city of Liaoning province Dandong city as an example, analyze the formation process of Dandong city development and theeconomic development of the port economy, the use of indicators-indicatorsexpansion on the2003-2012city of SPSS software analysis of canonical correlationand regression, the results showed extremely significant, significant and no significantimpact factor, analysis of the deep reasons, and puts forward some feasiblesuggestions for its future development.The sixth chapter: the conclusion part. Through theoretical analysisandquantitative study on the first five chapters of the factors that affect urbanexpansion in Dandong city and port economic development as location factors,economic factors and geographical relations, and in Dandong the existing problems,put forward to maintain open city, optimize industrial structure, strengtheninfrastructure construction, countermeasures and suggestions.
