China is a huge cigarette consumption country. Tobacco industry, shoulderingthe mission of improving the national economic income, promoting the economicgrowth and meeting the cigarette consumer’s needs, plays a vital role as one of thebackbone industry. In recent years, with the improvement of Chinese economy as wellas people’s living standard, cigarette consumption has witnessed gradual changesfrom low and medium grade to top grade, and from local brand towards national topbrand. Meanwhile, tobacco industry confronts with great pressure in the changes ofmarketing situations and fierce international competition. It is increasingly hard for arapid sale’s growth and it is urgent to reform the traditional marketing system toensure the tobacco company’s profit. Modern cigarette marketing requires a systemstarting with the needs of cigarette consumers and guided by market. The main pointslie in accurate information collection, precision cigarette in-put and refined marketingmanagement.Based on precision marking theory and Linyi tobacco company’s managementand problems, this thesis explores high-end cigarette marketing situation. To satisfythe needs of customers, by analyzing the standard supply of goods, we use theprecision marketing theory and get a final plan. Literary reference, questionnaire,qualitative and quantitive evaluation, case study are applied in this study to ensure theaccuracy and verification. The innovation lies in the analysis of the problems existingin high-end cigarette marketing and then delimitating and achieving precisionmarketing.This thesis mainly analyzes high-end cigarette marketing situations andproblems, and explores how Linyi Tobacco Company promotes its high-end cigaretteprecision marketing strategy and profit, how to meet the consumer’s needs as well ashow to solve the problem existing in high-end cigarette precision marketing system.The database system and other relevant data of Linyi Tobacco Company are used in addition with questionnaire relating to design and implementation of the high-endcigarette precision marketing. Based on the data analysis, the high-end cigarettetarget clients are subdivided and in-put standards are set. Internet and digitaltechnique are applied to guide retailers in purchasing high-end cigarette. Thus theeffective communication and interaction are guaranteed and the control andmeasurement of high-end cigarette precision marketing are achieved.On account of the research of high-end cigarette precision marking process ofLinyi tobacco company, we clarify the methods of getting high-end cigarette. Themarketing process is designed and the problems of unclear client’s classification andinaccurate in-put standard are settled and then high-end cigarette consumer data andgroup are established. Eventually, the communication difficulty between tobaccocompany and high-end cigarette consumers can be solved. It’s very meaningful fortobacco company to implement high-end cigarette precision marketing.
