Small and medium enterprises and entrepreneurship have been acknowledged to be important tools for economic transformation and economic growth of the countries all over the world. In Cambodia, small and medium enterprises are also the major source of the country’s incredible economic-growth in terms of their contribution toward the creation of employment, the improvement of GDP and the development of high-tech intensive industries. Since the small and medium enterprises were necessary for economic growth, the Royal Government of Cambodia has created the rectangular strategy in July2000, in order to assist the transaction of the SMEs and more convenience in doing business in Cambodia.Cambodian government believes that the rectangular strategy can assist Cambodia business enterprise more improving, from more place for more investment capital. Unfortunately, from the set-up rectangular strategy until now, there is still having some of small and medium enterprises get success and some non-success. Generally, the influence on small and medium enterprises business success factors are:SMEs characteristic, management and know-how, products and services, customer and market, the way of doing business and cooperation, resources and finance, strategy, and external environment.This study attempted to identify factors that are affecting business success of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Cambodia. The researchers aims at using data and relating theory and concept, case study on LYLY Food Industry and Eurotech Drinking Water Co, Ltd, find out the problems that influence on the successful of entrepreneurship of SMEs in Cambodia, then developing questionnaires to analyst the successful and non-successful factors of SMEs, and what SMEs contribute to Cambodia economic growth.This study research will divided into seven chapters. The first chapter is about the introduction of the study. Second chapter is about literature reviews. The third chapter is about situation of SMEs in Cambodia economic growth. The fourth chapter is case study on successful and non-successful factors of SMEs in Cambodia. The fifth chapter is data descriptive analysis and results. The sixth chapter is Cambodia government support activities to promoter SMEs in Cambodia. And the last chapter is about conclusion and recommendation.
