A Study On The Relationship Between The Development Of Producer Service And Manufacturing

As the global economy continues developing, the service economy has becomethe backbone of the sustainable development of modern economic. The developmentof producer services as the behalf of the development of service economic, its role inpromoting economic, especially the effect of impetus to the manufacturing, hasaroused more and more attention. Producer services not only play an important role inthe competition in the industry, but also a key role in industrial restructuring. Thestudies of domestic and international have shown that producer services andmanufacturing have development relations of mutual influence. As a bigmanufacturing country in the world, it has very important strategic significance tooptimizati and upgrade industrial structure and improve the market competitiveness ofthe manufacturing by studying the impact of China’s development of producer servicesin the manufacturing and giving full play to the unique role of producer services.This paper elaborates the relationship between producer services andmanufacturing from a point of structural economics view.It is believed that there is notsimple interactive and response relationship between them. As for the relationship,producer services occupy more important position. While in the aspects of mutualinfluence, producer services exerts more promotion and restriction on manufacturing,not the other way around. That provides a new perspective and standpoint for thetheory and policy. In the empirical part, by using time-series data and multipleregression, this paper analyzed the effect of producer services on the manufacturing,then makes a further research on the reasons for the current situation of producerservices and puts forward some relevant policy recommendations about thedevelopment of producer services.
