Firstly, this paper analyzes the statistical data of national bureau of statistics, and top100Chineserestaurants, to describe the current situation of Chinese restaurant industry from three aspects, as cateringenterprises industry scale and growth speed, industry concentration and brand development, industry policyenvironment, and point out the trend of Chinese restaurant industry. Combining with the changes of currentChinese restaurant industry operating environment, to research their IPO motivation, puts forward that itcan promote the enterprises’ development, help them to eliminate or relieve some problems which willappear in the process of expansion, and it is also an important method to achieve their developmentstrategy.Secondly, through the method of overall research and data comparison of Chinese restaurant’s IPOsituation, put forward that there still has spaces for Chinese restaurant industry to IPO in the future.According to the financial index of three different Chinese restaurant enterprises which seperately listed inChina, Hongkong and America, analyzes their p/e ratio, financing costs, approval procedures,to find outadvantages and disadvantages of three different listing markets. And through the study of Qiaojiangnan IPOfailure case, to provide reference for other restaurant enterprises, and reduce their risk of IPO failure.Then, based on the analysis of current development situation and IPO situation of Chinese restaurantenterprises, to sum up the problems which obstruct the enterprises’ IPO, and bring up the measures fordifferent problems.Finally, based on the perspective of risk management, put forward that after IPO there may still have aseries of risks, including market risk, information disclosure risk, etc. Put forward the strategies to controlthese risks,and help the enterprises to have a sustainable development.
