| With the acceleration of the world’s major regional economic integration process, the degree of economic integration in various regions is also growing. In this environment, the Free Trade Area of China, Japan and South Korea are also back on the agenda. March4,2014, in Japan and South Korea the fourth round of FTA negotiations was held in Seoul, Korea. Japan and South Korea also have sent delegations to participate in the negotiations. The main round of negotiations launched consultations on issues of trade in goods tariff reduction mode, opening way of services trade and investment, scope and fields ofagreements. Trade negotiations between Japan and South Korea is more difficult. However,they are bound to sign the relevant trade agreementsbased on common interests.Once established in Japan and South Korea FTA will promote the growth of economic, trade and investment among three countries., enhance political mutual trust,peace and stability in Northeast Asia. And also for economic integration in East Asia and the economic development of wholeAsia has extremely important significance. Establishing a free trade area in South Korea become the subject for many scholars due to the reason that Japan and South Korea share close geopolitical relations, and also has strong complementarities in economic.Based on the above background, on the condition of data can be obtained, the authorinvestigated export trade market among China, Japan and South Korea. By using the gravity model of trade,the author gained the conclusion that there issome overlap part over China, Japan and South Korea export trade market. The appropriate policy recommendations are made on the basis of fully consideraing the Japan and South Korea’s export feature,and the complex international environment they are facing. Above all, to promote the stable development of world economy and trade,Japan and South Korea should abandon the political history of conflicts so as soon as possible and build FTAactively. |
