With the opening of the tourist industry has gradually increased and the tourismmarket has been more mature, the tourism market in China has attracted a largenumber of foreign investments. Foreign direct investment has already been intoChina’s hotel industry, travel agency industry, which is beneficial to the overalldevelopment of the industry. The foreign travel agencies in China have formed acertain scale, based on that the thesis is to analyze the foreign travel agenciesinvestment scale and location with geographic mathematical research methods andsoftware, to study the correlation between the foreign travel agencies investment andChina’s tourism economy by using mathematical statistics research method andstatistical analysis software. The thesis is divided into six parts.First, analyze the research background and research significance in theory andpractice, and puts forward the research purpose. After summarizing the domestic andforeign scholars’ research process and results of foreign direct investment and travelagencies, clarify the ideas and methods of the study and the technical route, and thenanalyze the feasibility of the study. And then define the concept of foreign directinvestment, foreign travel agency, has analyzed our country on foreign investmentaccess system, as well as the relationship between agglomeration economies and FDIlocation decision making. According to the present situation of the actual situation ofthe domestic and foreign direct investment, the external factors that influence theforeign travel agency investment and internal factors. Using the geographicalmathematical research methods, mainly analyzes the distribution structure of foreigntravel agency investment. Further analysis of the association of foreign travel agencyinvestment and domestic tourism economy using co-integration test and Graingercausality test, obtains the long-term relationship between two variables. After analyze the foreign travel agency business and tourism products, investmentand investment strategy, furthermore the trend of development. Make improvementfrom the aspects of travel agency business model, quality of service and talent respect,and finally promote the development of domestic travel agencies.
