Research Of Inventory Optimization In HN Company

Nowadays, the competition among enterprises is becoming increasingly fierce. Long-term marketing advantage of high-tech is gradually weakened as network and information systems development. Getting benefit from enterprise management and reducing costs become an important way to obtain competitive advantage.Cost is an important factor for enterprise competitiveness. As inventory assets take up a considerable proportion in the total assets, which play a decisive role in enterprise competition. So the supply chain inventory management level is an important index of enterprise cost management. Reasonable and effective inventory management becomes an important influence factor of enterprise’s competition ability. Therefore, how to effectively control the inventory, reduce costs, achieve the best combination of costs and benefits will be the inventory optimization target. This paper is basing on the related theories, to research on the existing inventory management model, and to find the optimization solution, in order to improve the competitiveness of enterprises.There are five chapters in the paper. The first chapter is the introduction, mainly introduces the research background and significance, domestic and foreign research on inventory management. Also give introduction of research methods and framework for this paper. The second chapter is for inventory management theory. Such as ABC classification model, economic order quantity (EOQ), joint inventory management (JMI) etc., based on the supply chain, to provide a theoretical basis for inventory optimization of HN Company. The third chapter introduces the present inventory management situation of HN Company. There are several problems in HN Company inventory management. Such as unreasonable purchasing decision, lack of cost control, loopholes of inventory management, the lack of c index analysis. These problems restrict the development of the enterprise; seriously affect the interests of enterprises. The fourth chapter puts forward the idea of perfecting the inventory management system of HN Company. Includes strengthening of ABC classification management, scientific order decision, improve the performance evaluation and incentive system, improve the ERP system etc.. The fifth chapter gives the conclusion and prospect of this paper.
