Research On Application Of Lean Production In Machinery Industry

Lean production is one kind of new production management mode,where its coreincludes pull by customer demand,waste elimination and continuous improvement,andwhich help the company gain with lowest investment and help the operation get significantimprovement. Lean production stresses the requirement of time and value from thecustomer, organizes manufacturing activities bringing customer increment and shortensproduction lead time Via a scientific manufacturing system,form which compay capabilityto adapt for changing market could be increased. The key of lean production is to eliminateall the ineffective activities and waste. The goal of lean production is to chase excellenceand secure enterprise advantage by continuous cost and scrap reduction,quality andflexibility improvement,Zero stock management and so on.In this paper, the macrography and the micrography of shop floor can be effectivelycombined by the Value Stream Mapping and the Standard Work which through two toolsfrom lean production;hence a series of optimization and improvement of the shop floor canbe carried out.At the meanwhile, the key performance indicator of the whole team can beclearly demonstrated through visual management, and the shop floor management may runefficiently and effectively in the manner of PDCA.
