The Analysis Of Industrial Structure Change: Trend、Mechanism And Empirical Made By Taiwan’s Businessmen On The Mainland

After30years of development, Taiwanese investment on the mainland has made considerabledevelopment.Especially,since the year2008,with the continuous interaction between tai-wanprovince and mainland China,the cooperation between mainland China and tai-wan province hastransferred from“folk,unidirection,indirect” to “direct,bidirection,institutionalized,institutionalize”.Under the new circumstances, the analysis and grasp of industrial structure change:trend、mechanism and empirical made by Taiwan’s businessmen on the mainland, to achieve the optimalallocation of resources is undoubtedly of great theoretical and practical significance.This paper first reviewed the relevant theories of foreign direct investment, then analyze thedevelopment process of Taiwanese investment in the mainland,and then analyzes the differentstages of Taiwanese investment in mainland changes,later draw the characteristics and theory ofthe industry evolution on the investment,and put forward the suggestions at last.The industry choice between the mainland China and tai-wan province is based on threecriterion,which is industry combination location comparative advantage criterion、industry invertical trade criterion and highly structure homogeneity criterion.Meanwhile,draw the conclusionthat the reason of the industry are based on Taiwan’s industrial structure、mainland China’sresources endowment and Mainland China’s industrial policy change. The main factor are putforward based on society demand、technology、system arrangement.Taiwanese investment on the mainland has its own time and continuous;Taiwaneseinvestment on the mainland is still dominated by the second industry;Taiwanese investment on themainland has the regularity of concentration;Taiwanese investment on the mainland tend totransfer when it face problems.Factor analysis and principal component analysis are used to analysis the main factors basedon the date between the year1995and2012.The result indicate that the technical level,theindustrial policy environment,the alternating of the ruling party in Taiwan,human capital,capitallevel,infrastructure construction and the industrial structure changes in tai-wan are the main factors.Suggestions are promoted from the Taiwan and mainland China two aspects to optimist theresources configuration.
