The city is a concentration of human civilization, is one of the important places ofhuman production and life, but also a variety of places surface material, information, energyand other mutual exchange. Urbanization is a large rural population to urban, rural andgradually transformed into a process of the city, is also expanding urban space, expanding aprocess. At present, China is in the stage of rapid urbanization, with a variety of increasinglysophisticated infrastructure, a large rural population into cities, thus contributing to a varietyof materials, energy and other production materials are constantly living concentrated in cities, and thus, the city plays an important role in the process of rapid development in the region. An important feature is the rapid urbanization of temporal changes in urban land expansion, therefore, the evaluation of urban expansion has not only become an important measure of thelevel of urbanization indicators, but also land use/land cover change in key areas (LUCC)research. Through the analysis of urban expansion, you can gain a deeper understanding ofthe nature of the connotation of urbanization, but also guide the rational development of thebasic conditions for the city, and according to the problems of urban expansion proposeddirection of sustainable urban development in the future.Yinchuan is a typical city of Northwest oasis, and built on artificial oasis Irrigation, thearea is limited, fragile ecological environment. In recent years, as the impact of the reformand opening up and the western development strategy, the development of Yinchuan is rapid, and urban space expansion obviously make itself more pressure on the fragile ecologicalenvironment. Therefore, used5satellite remote sensing data include1989,1995,2000,2006and2013in support of Yinchuan, socioeconomic statistics and geographic informationsystems software, the study of expanded temporal and spatial variation characteristics anddriving forces of urban expansion in Yinchuan, analyzed the problems and deficiencies thatexist in Yinchuan, and put forward the corresponding countermeasures, in order toprovide a scientific basis for the oasis city of Yinchuan and Northwest expansion and urbanplanning. Paper concluded as follows:1. Judging from the expansion of temporal, the urban expansion was rapid growth rateof the overall trend in1989-2013.1989-1995and1995-2000for the periods extended slowly,2000-2006and2006-2013periods of rapid urban expansion, which in2000-2006the mostsignificant urban expansion. The urban expansion is mainly in Xingqing and Xixia in1989, a smaller range of urban districts, urban spatial structure was "dumbbell." By2013, urbanexpansion and scope includes not only the majority of Helan County, Xingqing and Xixia, there Jinfeng District, part of Yongning County, the city extended range greatly increased. Thenortheast and southeast of Xingqing is most significant urban expansion in Yinchuan, thelargest in the southwest of Xixia extended significantly. After the expansion of the city centerto the north and south in1989on the basis of the transfer of the southeast, and the shift to thesoutheast2006-2013most obvious extension of the period primarily reflects the city in thesoutheast.2. From the point of view of urban form, urban expansion has not compact and tends tobe unstable characteristics, urban expansion mode along the lines of communication betweenthe main east-west axis expansion in1989; after the year of1989, a compact urban form tendsto reduce complexity in2013, the urban expansion mode into a multi-center group-styleexpansion.3. Urban expansion coefficient of elasticity calculation showed, the elasticity coefficientis small in the periods of1989-1995and1995-2000, urban expansion rate far lower than thepopulation growth rate, shortage of land; the elasticity coefficient in2000-2006is higher thana reasonable value, reaction of urban construction land occupies too much, poor land-useefficiency and other phenomena; urban expansion velocity in2006-2013is less than thepopulation growth rate, urban land slightly nervous.4. The environmental impact of urban expansion mainly for urban heat island effect andchanges in urban land use types. First, the urban heat island effect was weak, with anincreasing trend of urban expansion area, feeble reduce urban heat island effect in2013.Secondly, the process of urban expansion of urban land use types, great changes have takenplace in1989–2013, construction land area increased by19.16%, a significant increase in theurbanization process, mainly the conversion of arable land to construction land.5. The driving forces of urban expansion are mainly for natural and geographicalfactors, economic development, population growth, high-tech development zone construction, transportation infrastructure, government policy and planning, and the natural geographicalenvironment factors is a prerequisite of urban expansion; economic development is thedriving force of a direct impact on determining the size of urban expansion, direction, speedand spatial structure; population growth is the expansion of urban infrastructure; improving the transportation infrastructure of the city has a role in promoting the expansion; governmentplanning and decision-making can guide the direction of urban expansion, and has a strongguiding role.6. For problems and deficiencies that exist in urban expansion, strengthening theprotection of farmland, and improving land use efficiency; district balanced development, highlighting the advantages of the industry; vigorously develop tourism; strengtheningenvironmental protection four put forward concrete measures. |
