| As the pace of the national attention on wetland resources and protection enhancing,Wetland Park has become an important part of the wetland system. However, thedevelopment and protection of Wetland Park have benefits to the adjacent community,while it’s also subject to certain restrictions. Therefore, the benefits of the adjacentcommunity must be emphasized for the development and protection of Wetland Park,and handling the relationship between Wetland Park and the adjacent community isan important prerequisite to the beneficial development and effective protection toWetland Park.This paper researches the Poyang Lake National Wetland Park and its adjacentcommunity, using externality, stakeholders, sustainable development, communityco-management theories and so on, achieving the factors of Wetland Park on theadjacent community and the data of attitudes and willingness of community residentsto the Wetland Park development and protection through field interviews andquestionnaires, and then using SPSS software to get Factor Analysis, ANOVA andother statistics analysis. The results show that:①the Wetland Park has six mainfactors on the benefits of the adjacent community, namely the employment factor, theliving conditions of factors, spiritual wealth factor, influencing factors of land,tourism development factor, resource utilization factor. Among those factors, thehighest sensitivity factor is the employment factor, followed by the living conditionsfactor,and the most insensitive factor is resource utilization factor;②Genderdifferences have significant impacts on the choice of the main factor1(employmentfactor), family per capita income differences have significant impacts on the choice ofthe main factor4(land impact factor),age differences have significant impacts on thechoice of the willingness of the residents participating in Wetland Park (here in afterit refers as "willingness to participate"),differences in educational attainment havesignificant impacts on the choice of participating in Wetland Park and operatingindependently, family per capita income differences have significant impacts onoperating independently. Based on the results of the above analysis,this paper puts forward somesuggestions from the following aspects:①Provide skills training and jobopportunities to those community presidents, who are willing to participate inWetland Park work related;②Perfect the Compensation for landless residengts;③Provide independent family business projects and give policy support for thosefamilies which have better economic strength and better management capabilities;④Implement community co-management based on focus on community deeds. |
