With a series of new rules and new standards for international shipbuilding beendeveloped and implemented by maritime organization (IMO), the competition coming frominternational and domestic markets shipbuilding enterprises facing is increasingly fierce.And the competition has been funding, resources and labor increasingly turned to theinnovative technologies which dominance by the technical. The competition of innovationand technology is essentially how companies use legal means and proprietary tools. It isimportant for enterprise to choice the right approach to develop the technical intellectualproperty. It is important to prevent the competitor master the technology. Then, theinnovative enterprises can maintain the dominant position in the market competition.In this paper, we study that selecting the developing mode of intellectual propertyrights for CSIC shipbuilding enterprises. The theory about developing options of intellectualproperty rights in domestic and foreign is the basis. We reviewed the theory of developingoptions of intellectual property rights. Then we understand the significance of selecting thedeveloping mode of intellectual property rights and comment the innovation and writingideas of this paper. In this context, we analyzed the characteristics anddeveloping trends of the shipbuilding industry. Also, we make an introduction about CSICshipbuilding enterprises. Then, we analyze the achievement, problem and the causes of theproblem of developing technical intellectual rights for CSIC shipbuilding enterprises deeply.These lead to the study of selecting the developing mode of technical intellectual propertyrights for CSIC shipbuilding enterprises. Then, the article focuses on the principles ofselecting the factors that influencing to selecting the developing mode of technicalintellectual property rights for CSIC shipbuilding enterprises.
