With the increasingly competition in the market, overseas markets and profitabilityadvantages in the market is becoming increasingly apparent, more and more companieschoose to go abroad to explore overseas markets. However, the actual situation have becomeincreasingly prominent, there are many cases of failure can explain the problem. In order toensure the healthy development of overseas construction projects and a stable financialsituation, strengthen the response capacity of the financial risk of overseas constructionprojects is very important.The purpose of this paper is mainly through the China Railway Tenth airport expansionproject in Kenya, making some constructive suggestions, and summarized the financial riskcoping strategies similar projects, in order to help other similar enterprises to cope with thefinancial risks.The main idea of this paper is to study domestic and abroad situation on the financialrisks of overseas construction projects, to extract the concept of financial risk overseasconstruction projects, elaborate affect its financial risk sources from different angles.Combined with real cases from the Railway Tenth practical in-depth study by the Delphimethod and SWOT analysis of financial risks faced by the Faroe listed companies and theirimpact on quantitative analysis, summarized coping strategies overseas construction projectfinancial risks.This articles divided into five parts, of which the first part is an introduction, mainly onthe research background and significance and methods.The second part is the theoretical basis of the article, which carried out a review of therelevant literature.The third part is the definition of financial risk and the summarization of financial riskoverseas construction projects. Then from the macro, meso and micro levels to explain thethree sources of overseas construction project financial risks.The fourth part is a case analysis, a questionnaire and interview papers from projectmanagement staff. This is aim to have a comprehensive understanding of the financialposition of the China Railway Tenth overseas projects. Using SWOT analysis andcost-effective manner for the financial risks identified qualitative and quantitative assessment,and finally one by one on the quantification of the risk analysis and propose solutions. On thebasis of this case, summarizing the coping strategies of financial risks in overseas construction projectThe fifth part is a summary of the article, summed up the proposal to deal with thefinancial risks of overseas construction projects. Hope this article can help other companieswho have similar projects.
