Research On China’s Foreign Trade Commodity Structure Evolution And Characteristics Before And After The Financial Crisis

China has won the first place of scale of trade in goods in the world in2013,though China is a big country in scale of trade in goods, China is not a powerfulcountry in trade of goods, especially the financial crisis had formed a huge impact inChina’s import and export. We can measure whether China has the reasonablestructure of high levels of trade goods to judge China’s trade power in export andimport.This article uses the comparison analytic method, by means of analyzingcommodity structure between China and typical developed countries (Japan,European Union, USA) before and after the financial crisis, I try to reveal some riskexposed in China’s export and import trade and give my suggestions and advices tooptimize China’s commodity structure in export and import.Research based on the above ideas, the full text is divided into four parts: thefirst part is introduction, including the topic background and research significance,theoretical foundation and previous study of China’s foreign trade commoditystructure, the innovation in this paper. The second part is the core part of the full text,through some analysis indicators and underlining relationship betweencomplementary and competitiveness of trade goods, I try to judge and analyze thetrend of future trade between China and its trade partner in a rational way. The thirdpart is on the basis of the second part, I reveal some problems in China’s foreigntrade commodity structure, such as the labor-intensive commodity is unsustainableand the advantages of capital and technology intensive commodity over-dependenceon foreign technology, emphasis on exports is far greater than imports led to agrowing number of trade friction, etc. The fourth part I put forward my advices onhow to optimize China’s foreign trade commodity structure optimization from theperspective of industrial structure upgrade, optimize the investment environment toattract foreign capital to build the second opening, promote market diversificationstrategy and trade balance strategy,etc.
