Today, China’s gross domestic product (GDP) has been ranked second in theworld. Relative to the seventies of last century, China’s economic level has aqualitative change. At the same time, the rapid development of Chinese economy haspromote the city outdoor advertising, which is the oldest media change. Outdooradvertising has become a decoration of city, and its impact on the city’s image hasbecome increasingly profound. Therefore, it’s important to ensure the scientificalnessof urban outdoor advertising planning and the reasonableness of management. As oneof the first historical and cultural city, Jingdezhen has a special cultural significance.The planning and management of Jingdezhen outdoor advertising not only has a hugeimpact on the brand image of the city, but also affects the advertising businessenvironment of the city.In this paper, the writer analyzes the characteristics, classification, development,trends and the necessity for planning of urban outdoor advertising. Then, selecting thecorresponding samples, writer discusses and analyzes the existing problems andreasons of Jingdezhen urban outdoor advertising. Writer phased conceives Jingdezhenurban outdoor advertising according to the future spatial planning of Jingdezhen. Inthe course of the research, writer found that there are some problems about urbanoutdoor advertising. This paper puts forward some corresponding countermeasures byanalyzing management problems.The planning and management of urban outdoor advertising is not just aadvertising issue. It also covers communication, urban planning, management, urbanaesthetics, color science, psychology, statistics, cognitive science and lightingengineering and many other disciplines. This paper attempts to integrate knowledge,study the problems in the planning and management of Jingdezhen outdooradvertising, and provide some solutions.
