With the development of world economy, the high-tech products in internationaltrade is becoming increasingly important. At present, China’s high-tech products exportscale developed rapidly, which has made a great contribution to China’s economicgrowth. At the same time,it help to optimize the industrial structure and productstructure in our country. According to the trend of world economic development,China also made the strategic policy of science and technology trade. While the rapiddevelopment of China’s high-tech exports, there are many problems in terms of thetrade in general. This paper analyzes the main problems the high-tech exports, andmade a number of policy recommendations to address these issues.First this article analyzes the background and significance of the study, anddefines the range of research products. The range is divided into nine categories ofhigh-tech products in the directory of China’s customs statistics. The paper also soughtthe support from the traditional trade theory to the new trade theory. Economists’ viewsare not different, but the overall trend is to support the point of view that exports canspur economic growth point of view. The core product is mainly high-tech product. From two angles of the exogenous variables and endogenous variables, they alsoanalyzed the role of technology in economic growth in the trade.Recently the export of China’s developed rapidly in the number and size, whichmake China only the largest trading nation rather than trade power nation. The mainreason for this result is that the export of China’s high-tech products is has a lot ofproblems, and the most critical problem is the lack of stamina. Technical innovationalso led to that China’s exports of products with independent intellectual propertyrights is less. The export of hi-tech products in the distribution of the product structureand market appears to be too concentrated, this phenomenon reflect that China’sforeign dependence is not enough, which is not good to the stability of China’seconomic development. In order to optimize the export of hi-tech products, this paper makes some policyrecommendations. Generally speaking, in order to achieve steady economicdevelopment and optimize the amount of high-tech product exports, we need fornational policy, businesses and nationals of all with the support. This ambitious goalcan not be achieved by social factor changes, it needs the collective efforts of the entirecountry.
