Research On The Exhibitions And Fairs Evaluation System From The Perspective Of Professional Visitors

Professional visitor is one of the key stakeholders in the exhibition or fair, therecognition of professional visitors determines the value of the exhibition. The thesistakes professional visitor as research object, starts from the professional visitors’decision-making, studies the determining factors that professional visitors choose andevaluate exhibitions and fairs, explores the weight of each factor, in order to form theexhibitions and fairs evaluation index system from the perspective of professionalvisitors.Firstly, the thesis generally tidies and analyzes the theories of exhibitions andfairs evaluation, the research of professional visitor, organization decision, behaviordecision, and brings forth a theoretical model of exhibitions and fairs evaluationsystem from the perspective of professional visitors. Then, by communicating withexperts from the host companies and by consulting with the professional visitorson-the-spot exhibitions, exploring the indexes drive professional visitors to evaluate afair or an exhibition. The investigation is in forms of professional visitors’questionnaire and survey, using the statistical software SPSS to deal with the collecteddata, testing the effect factors form different level, calculating the weight of differentfactors, thus establishing the exhibitions and fairs evaluation index system. Theresults showed that the four influencing factors in the model are, range from the mostimportant to the least important, benefit, cost, influence of exhibitions or fairs andservice of exhibitions or fairs. Meanwhile, according to these implications, the thesisconcludes the management inspiration for better quality and benefits in an exhibitionor a fair at the aspect of host companies.
