Urbanization is the phenomena of spatial agglomeration with the development ofeconomy and society. The level of urbanization is correlative with the ectent of economy in acountry or region. Economic growth facilitates urbanization and urbanization also accelerateseconomic and social development.In order to explore the urbanization on economic growth of Baoding to evaluate thecausal relationship between the two, the article based on time series that data from1994to2010,use the single integration test,cointegration test, Granger causality test and the othermethods, analysis Baoding urbanization on the impact of economic growth. The resultsshowed that economic growth is the level of urbanization to improve the Granger cause,whilethe intensity of urbanization on economic growth.In-depth recognized on the relationship ofBaoding urbanization and economic growth, it help the government to take reasonablemeasures to avoid in the process of promoting urbanization and economic growth into errors.The study include the following contents: The first part described the background andtheory of practical significance, review dynamics analysis of relevant content, and carry outthe literature review, resesrch methodology and innovation.
