Quantum Cryptography is a new discipline, which is the combination of classic cryp-tography and the law of quantum mechanics. It can achieve unconditional secure com-munication, the core part of which is quantum key distribution(QKD). In quantum key distribution, two bit strings called raw key are generated between two parties over a quan-tum channel with noise, but errors are induced by noise at the same time. Information reconciliation, as an important step of QKD, is the process of bit strings error correction or elimination in which two different bit strings of equal length are turned into two same bit string by exchanging information through a classical authenticated public channel. The information reconciliation protocols based on linear codes, such as Winnow, usually leak a certain amount of information with the exchange of parity and syndrome. In this case, the majority of protocols, more often than not, delete some bits for privacy maintenance, whereas these bits are in fixed location as agreed upon by both parties. In this paper, with the feature of syndrome utilized fully, the leaked information can be deleted selectively toward different syndromes and a new information reconciliation protocol is proposed in the case of Winnow and the information reconciliation protocol based on (15,7,2) code. Through the simulation, the optimized information reconcilia-tion protocol leaks less information and improve effective in various degrees, therefore it has practical significance to some extent.
