Cloud storage provides dynamically scalable and virtualized resource service for users to access the storage data. While having brought en ormous convenience, it incurs the threat of users’ data integrity, such as an adversary who deliberately damages data integrity, the server hardware error and hum ans’ careless operation. Most of the data integrity verification schemes based PDP(Provable Data Possession) or POR(Proof of Retrievability) can quickly verify the integrity of a batch of data blocks, but once the verification fails, the location of the corrupted data cannot be instantly and effec tively identified. Additionally, these verification schemes mostly did not consider the c redibility and energy consumption when the m obile device act as the verifier on the mobile cloud computing platform, and are lack of researching on the problem that users’ data verificati on demands are high elasticity and customizability affected by the factors, such as data characteristics, the am ount of data access and data importance.To achieve energy-efficient data integrity ve rification, we propose a rapid corrupted data detecting algorithm called Cube-detection, utilizing data com pression and data bli nd technology. The algorithm both preserves the da ta privacy and achieves the energ y-efficient detecting on cloud storage. F urthermore, with multiple mobile verifiers(shorten to verification group) for verification and estimating the verification completion time, we design an Energy-Efficient Assigning Verification Tasks Algorithm(shorten to EEAVT) on cloud storage in order to improve the efficiency and reliability of data verification and minimize the energy consumption of the data verification pro cess while meeting users’ elastic verification demands.Theoretical analysis and e xperiment evaluation show that t he Cube-detection algorithm has a strong detectability of corrupted data blocks, and locates all corrupted data blocks by one auditing challenge in m ost cases. As the sa me time, it greatly decreases the cost o f verification data transmission and com putation and achieves energy-efficient detection. The EEAVT effectively reduces energy consumption of verification process while meeting the user verification needs, achieve higher e fficiency and reliability of data integrity verification, and hugely meet the user elastic and customizable verification needs.
