With the innovation-driven continuing to strengthen and new technologies appearing, the strong demand to grasp the emerging research topics accurately and timely is becoming increasingly. The identification to emerging topics contributes to grasp the research direction of related fields for researchers. Emerging topic research has become the important content in the research of technology innovation.Regarding for the limitation that it is the main method to identify the emerging topics, making use of the frequency of keywords currently. In this paper, we propose to built the muti-attribute measure model, which takes advantage of the high degree of concern, high degree of growth potential and high correction to identify and select the keywords and determines the emerging topics finally. With the example of precise point positioning, we clarify the implementation steps and its feasibility. Then, The method can’t accurately reflect the logical relationship between keywords based on the keywords traditionally, so it needs the expert’s judgment to reveal the research topic. In this paper, we propose the identification of emerging research topics based on SAO structure of literature abstract. We expose the similarity of literature research content according to the semantic association analysis after determined the emerging literat ure, and thus more accurately refine the research topic. Finally, The result shows that the emerging topics of precise point positioning are more clearer as well as strongly directing.Meanwhile, comparing the reality research situation(including real- time precise point positioning, positioning errors and corrections, ambiguity fixing and so on),it has better goodness of fit.
