Long distance transport of blast furnace gas often causes the wall corrosion of pipes, especially when the blast furnace adopts dry dust removal of coal gas, the corrosion of the pipeline is more serious, which reduces the service time of the blast furnace gas pipeline, and increases the security risk, so the wall thickness of the pipeline needs to be detected. Because of the long length of the blast furnace gas pipeline, artificial detection is so difficult, The blast furnace gas pipeline wall thickness detection robot is reseacheer. The main work is as follows:The robot needs to walk along the inner wall of the blast furnace gas pipeline, so choose the wheel as the walking way, and uses the three degrees of 120°construction to support the structure. Supporting structure has a diameter changing ability, it can adapt different diameters, the robot can work in diameter from Φ500mm to Φ600mm of the blast furnace gas pipe. The robot is driven by three independent motorsCombining the working conditions of the robot in the pipeline, the mechanical characteristics of the robot’s working process are analyzed and the movement of the robot in the elbow are analyzed. The 3D model of the blast furnace gas pipeline inspection robot is established by Creo, and the simulation analysis is carried out by using ADAMS software. Through the radial size of the robot changing process simulation, concluding the rule between robot reducing adjustment process of mechanical characteristics and parameters of pipeline. By using simulation of the robot in the process of the elbow, the movement of the robot is studied.By comprehensive comparison, the detection method of the wall material of blast furnace gas is selected, and the leakage magnetic method is selected.
