Different spread spectrum sequences are chosen in code division multiple access(CDMA) system, which can have different effects on the system. In CDMA system, the sequences with zero-correlation zone(ZCZ) are used to enhance the ability of anti-interference and the Gaussian integer sequences are used to improve the data transmission rate of the system. The Gaussian integer sequences with zero-correlation zone(ZCZ) can possess the advantages of two kinds of sequences for the high-performance of the QS-CDMA system. Therefore, it is important to research the design of Gaussian integer sequence with zero-correlation zone(ZCZ).Firstly, the construction methods of Gaussian integer ZCZ sequence sets are studied. Based on perfect Gaussian integer sequences, Gaussian integer ZCZ sequence sets are constructed. The resultant set is constructed by the interleaving technique and shift sequences which are constructed by extension of structuring though of the original sequence. The new sequence sets can provide more space of address selection for high-speed quasi-synchronous spread spectrum system.Secondly, three construction methods of Gaussian integer ZCZ periodic complementary sequence sets are proposed. Based on Gaussian integer periodic complementary sequences with the shift operation, then combined with the interleaving, complex transformation, the two classes of Gaussian integer ZCZ sequence sets are constructed. Based on Gaussian integer ZCZ periodic complementary sequences, using combination method and complex transformation, the last class of Gaussian integer ZCZ sequence sets is constructed. Compared with the Gaussian integer ZCZ sequence sets, Gaussian integer ZCZ periodic complementary sequence sets which have large number of sequences can offer more choices for practical applications.Finally, the construction methods of Gaussian integer ZCZ array sets are studied. Based on perfect two-dimensional Gaussian integer array, using complex transformation combined with row shift method, column shift method, two kinds of two-dimensional Gaussian integer ZCZ arrays are constructed. Moreover, the resultant array sets are optimal and the parameters of the array sets can be flexible to meet different requirements in the application.
