Microcircualtion is a significant part of blood circulation, and the related research is often used in understanding pathogenic mechanism, analyzing and judging patient’s condition. Alterations of microcirculatory features would happen in many serious illnesses, such as sepsis, chronic ulcer, diabetes, hypertension and so on. If we can do quantitative analysis of the parameter alterations happened in microcirculation, we can greatly help doctors with clinical diagnosis and treatment of diseases. The manual method would consume plenty of time and manual labour, thus it is not qualified for acquisition of large-scale data, analysis and process of real-time images. Therefore the development of automatic measuring and analyzing system is important for microcirculatory research.The details about the developing procedures of the microcirculation analysis system were stated in this paper. The system includes two parts:measuring microcirculatory static and dynamic parameters automatically, and building the Web database containing characteristic parameters. The study of static parameters mainly includes vessel diameter measurement, and capillary density calculation, while the study of dynamic parameters mainly refers to the measurement of blood flow velocity.In order to realize the measurement of microcirculation static parameters, the processing method including jitter correction, image filtering and enhancing was proposed, the calculation algorithm of functional capillary density based on threshold segmentaion and connected domain processing was designed, and the measuring algorithm of vessel diameter based on the detection results of vessel centerline and vessel edge was researched. In order to realize the measurement of microcirculation dynamic parameters, the measuring algorithm of blood flow velocity was introduced which transfered the measurement of blood flow velocity to the detection of trace orientation in ST image, the image filtering and enhancing methods were designed to improve the quality of ST image, and the trace orientation detection algorithm was proposed which includes the method based on projection and the method based on spectrum.In order to realize the storage and management of microcirculation characteristic parameters, the Web database based on B/S structure was built, users could search and manage plenty of patient information and the corresponding microcirculation data stored in the database via the browser. The system was designed to satisfy the needs of researchers, lay the foundation of the clinical application of microcitculation, and follow the developing trend of medical big data time.
