Design And Implementation Of Individual Network Teaching System Based On Decision Tree

With the rapid development of multimedia education and computer network technology, the modern network teaching is playing a more important role in the field of education. But the environment and contents for the different students are almost the same based on the traditional network teaching system. There is no different individual teaching environment for individuation, so the learning efficiency of students can’t be improved according to their individuation.In order to improve the level of network teaching and activate the learning enthusiasm of students, decision tree is used because of the advantages of easy understanding and good results for the classification. Personalized teaching system based on decision tree is designed and realized in the paper. First, status and method of network teaching is researched and the inadequacies of online teaching are found. In traditional network teaching system teaching process is paid important attention to while the design of learning process is ignored. In order to improve network teaching level, personalized network teaching model based on decision tree is proposed. Second, personalized processing engine is designed based on ID3 algorithm of decision tree algorithm. The training set for decision tree to analyze is constructed based on three main factors, the time of online learning, the count of communication, the completion of homework. On the basis, the model of personalized teaching system is developed, which can forecast the learning effects of students by generated decision tree. The system can not only give suggestion to students on important points according to different learning effects, but also give personal reference to teachers on homework and paper and give customized teaching plan for different students. Third, the feasibility and effectiveness of the personalized teaching mode based on decision tree is validated by the test data in the corresponding test environment. In fundamentals of computer course teaching, good teaching effects is shown by the preliminary application of personalized teaching mode based on decision tree, which has a certain practicability and reference value.
