High-precision indoor positioning based on the smartphone has a broad prospect of application in the digital life. This thesis mainly studies the key tchnologies of high-precision indoor positioning based on received signal strength indicator (RSSI) of bluetooth low energy (BLE).At first, the thesis introduces the state-of-the-art for indoor positioning, and compares the characteristics of indoor positioning principle of different technologies. In combination with the realization of the smartphone, the thesis set the basis scheme as high-precision indoor positioning based on RSSI of BLE.Then, indoor signal propagation characteristics are studied based on the indoor signal propagation model. The thesis introduces the wireless signal fading model, and two improved solutions are proposed based on ray tracing model. Arrangement of beacon nodes is optimized by simulation.Then, by establishing the experimental platform, the thesis analyzes characteristics of RSSI of BLE. According to the measured data, the thesis studies RSSI filtering technologies, and establishes RSSI value simulation model about distance.Finally, based on the analysis, the thesis proposes a discrete positioning algorithm based on maximum likelihood estimation and a continuous tracking positioning algorithm based on particle filter. By analyzing the performance for the proposed algorithms, positioning accuracy of the proposed algorithms is superior to the traditional positioning algorithms based on RSSI. The positioning accuracy of the actual measured is within 0.5 m.
