With the development of digitized manufacturing technology, the requirements of measurement efficiency, size and accuracy in manufacturing technology of large equipment were continuously improved, so research on distributed measuring system has very important significance. Workspace measuring and positioning system(w MPS) is a multi-station intersection system based on photoelectric scanning. This measure system has the characteristics of high measuring precision, large measuring space, parallel measurement capability and good reliability. Station deployment has a significant impact on the measurement range, accuracy, and use-cost. Therefore, the optimization of measuring network structure and the improvement of the measurement performance are the research questions faced in the process of using w MPS measurement system. In this paper, in-depth analysis was conducted of the network layout optimization of w MPS measurement system, the optimized layout scheme of station based on intelligent optimization algorithm was proposed, and the experimental verification was conducted. The main contents and works are arranged as follows:1.Proposing significance of constructing large space precision coordinate measuring field and analyzing the characteristics and leading of measurement system station layout of demand, the concrete analysis are performed in the following pages.2. Firstly, the composition structure, measurement principle and multi objective optimization of w MPS measurement system were described. Then the analysis of three index which affecting the station layout of w MPS measurement system is conducted, namely the positioning accuracy, coverage, use-cost. Due to the three objective functions belong to different dimensions, using AHP analysis and normalized weights, given the optimization objective function.3.According to the layout of the w MPS measurement system optimization function, Station optimal topological geometry based on improved adaptive genetic algorithm and simulated annealing particle swarm algorithm was proposed in this paper. Then establish algorithm optimization process.4.Set up a spatial constraint model, use the two kinds of intelligent optimization algorithm is proposed in this paper on two to four typical Internet network layout and multi-station network measurement system for the simulation analysis. In the same time, a multi-station optimization strategy was proposed, the proposed algorithm was applied to the multi-station layout of w MPS measurement system, and experiments are designed to compare the measurement data of before and after optimization, conducted accuracy comparison with the data measured by laser tracker. The experimental results show that this method can effectively improve the measurement precision.
