At present, the model of the control system is generally considered to be constant. But a system in the operation of the mechanism inevitably encounters some failure, loss of information, strong external interference and so on. For the above phenomena, we need to find a suitable theoretical research method to match the change of the system. The change phenomenon is completely fit for using the switched system theory to research in the control system. It can be used to describe the conversion of different phenomena, and the stability of the switched system is more meaningful than a single system. On the other hand, when the system needs to meet different performance index at the different time or the different state, a single system is difficult to achieve, the switching system can meet the needs of the complex performance index. So it is very important to study the switching system, which is of great significance. The main research work of this paper is as follows:The stability of continuous-time switched systems and discrete-time switched systems is studied. According to some existing determination method of stability, the multi Lyapunov method and the average dwell time method are analyzed, and the shortcomings of these two methods are given. Based on the average dwell time method, this paper presents a method of real-time dwell time. The detailed proof procedure and numerical examples are given. The simulation results show the correctness and effectiveness of the above approach, which is more applicable for the practical engineering system. Based on the stability analysis of linear discrete-time switched systems, the H_∞ performance analysis of the discrete-time switched systems with time delay is carried out and the H_∞ filter is designed. The proofs of the sufficient conditions for H performance analysis and H filters design are given. At last, the design method and numerical examples are presented.
