In recent years, with the development of the theory and technology of the fifth generation(5G) wireless communication, obtaining the solution of the high resource utilization rate has become one of the research directions of 5G wireless communication. Full duplex(FD) technology as an important technology to improve the spectrum efficiency of 5G network, provides a potential solution of reaching the high rate of demand which 5G faced. The main work includes:(1) At the first, it described the development of demands for mobile communications and the future of certain communication requirements. At the same time, it discussed the research background and research status of 5G full duplex communication technology.(2) It introduced the current situation of the cellular network architecture and a potential 5G network architecture, and then summarize the emerging technologies, including large-scale MIMO technology, small cell networks, full-duplex technology, millimeter wave communication technology.(3) It introduces a feasible full duplex MAC layer communication protocol, discussing the basic principles of full duplex communication.(4) A full duplex cellular network scheme with full(network space) frequency reuse is studied in the paper. The physical layer considers the single input single output(SISO) configuration. Moreover, the theoretical throughput Based on single antenna full duplex cellular system model is deprived and their performance in multi cell OFDMA cellular system scene is also evaluated.(5) A kind of MIMO and full duplex scheme and the capacity performance of a large scale MIMO(cell small) network is studied lastly in this paper.
