With the life-style of human being intelligent, the life and work have been closely related to a variety of sensors. In recent years, there are plenty of new-type tactile sensors that are applied in artificial skin have come out, which draws more and more researchers to study calibration of sensor. Throughout the domestic research status, there is a hard situation that it’s difficult to achieve calibration of force and slide loading device is complicated.The paper analyzed the related theories of calibration of force aimed at flexible tactile sensor and the load of slide. Based on above mentioned theories, a new-type system of calibration of force and load of slide is designed and manufactured, and the structure of machine is optimized well by the error analysis and computation of precision. By means of adjusting the angle of space,the device is able to achieve the load and unload of force from the different directions whose scale is between 0 N and 50 N, and the precise of normal force is 0.2% F.S, the same to the precise of tangible force.The designed circuit based on ARM, including signal processing circuit, data communication circuit, Liquid crystal display circuit, key circuit and tepping motor driving circuit.has the following functions:collecting and processing datas of flexible tactile sensor, controlling the motion of linear stepping motor and achieving precise load of force. The system of calibration of force and load of slide could connect to PC through serial port, the data acquired by lower computer was sent to PC in real time and stored in database. Web browser could access to database to obtain data by Ajax no fresh technology and ActiveX controls. The real time information on server could display in browser, realizing remote access in real time.Through theoretical error analysis and measurement shows that the platform has high accuracy and strong adaptability, enabling flexible tactile sensor calibration of load and slide tactile sensor signal and slip through different pressure contacts. Performance by the experimental test system design, completion of the feasibility and validity of the design to ensure safe and reliable system. The platform is flexible haptic tactile sensor calibration and slippery load new methods and ideas for sensor calibration study has a very important practical significance.
