Research And Implementation Of Space Data Link Protocol Based On CFDP

The development of space exploration technology requires the higher performance of data management and transfer, especially for the implemental file management of space data and requirements of space system cooperation. Because of the particularity of space environment, the traditional file transfer protocol can not be used in deep space communication. For this purpose, a series of relevant protocols and standards on space data system are proposed by Consultative Committee of Space Data System(CCSDS). CCSDS File Delivery Protocol(CFDP) is the core protocol of application layer. It can be used in different space mission, to complete the function of file transfer in both symmetrical and asymmetrical contact link.This thesis studies the CFDP file transfer protocol and applies CFDP to the space data management system. According to the functional requirements of the CFDP protocol, this thesis adopts the method of file management, and completes the design of the system. A reduced implementation of the protocol is developed due to the operational requirements. The embedded application of CFDP protocol is realized by the software and hardware cooperation mechanism in the designed space data management system.The designed space data management system is set up. The unreliable CFDP transfer mode and delay NAKs mode are tested. The test results show that the designed system can successfully complete the function of file transfer and meet the requirements of the design.
