In recent years, with rapid development of mobile intelligent terminals, wireless local area network and wide popularity, mobile user demands for information in location and real-time grew more and more intense. WIFI indoor positioning based on fingerprint technology to achieve simple, low cost and scalability advantages, have become a hot spot in indoor positioning technologies. Due to low accuracy and instability as well as problem that traditional indoor positioning based on WIFI signal is difficult to solve the real-time positioning results effectively because of dynamic environment, we use the Kalman filter algorithm to process the estimated user’ real-time location coordinates by location algorithm, and design a dynamic cross-layer data queue management method based on priority which provides good theoretical basis and practical value for positioning accuracy, the data transfer rate and the environment adaptability.The main works in this paper are as follows:1. The characteristics of the received signal strength. Improve system performance and received signal strength of RSS are inseparable. Combined with the collected location fingerprint data in actual WIFI environment, Practical WIFI where you collected Environmental fingerprint data, we analyze the signal propagation characteristics of indoor location, wireless signal strength characteristics are explained from the perspective of positioning technology, wireless signal strength characteristics are explained.2. Filtering and Denoising. When real-time tracking, the collected received signal strength has small sample size, thereby seriously affecting the positioning accuracy of indoor positioning system. To further improve the positioning performance and stability of indoor positioning system, We use the Kalman filter algorithm to process the estimated user’location coordinates by location algorithm.3. Design a dynamic cross-layer data queue management method based on priority. Traditional indoor positioning is difficult to solve the real-time positioning results effectively because of dynamic mobile node, We designed a dynamic cross-layer priority data queue management to implement data queue management mechanism based on priority between the data link layer and MAC layer. Which make indoor location algorithm have better positioning accuracy, data transmission rate and adaptability than the traditional method.
