With the development of the economy, logistics plays a key role in promoting economic restructuring,and logistics facilities-related issues have become the hot spots. AS / RS,collection of information, storing, managing, integrating,is one of the basic aspects of modern logistics, which is the key to entire logistics system automation. In recent years, the research of AS/RS have involved in all aspects, where the scheduling issue has been the focus of many scholars analysis, determined the storage areas benefits. Therefore, research on the optimal scheduling issue has important theoretical significance and practical works. This article take AS/RS as the object of study, mainly studied the problem of stacker’s automation picking scheduling. The main contents are as follows:(1) It has introduced the definition and development of automated warehouse, the system components, the detailed analysis for workflow of the scheduling optimization and the operation mode for stacker. Under the premise of a fixed shelf, for solving order picking path planning problem with a stacker in AS/RS of single and multi aisles, by considering of the constraints of turnover box capacity for stacker, established a mathematical model in order to minimize the total running distance of stacker for some given orders.(2) This paper briefly introduces the basic concepts and steps of the GA(genetic algorithm) and SA(simulated annealing) algorithm. The GSA(genetic simulated annealing) algorithm is a new hybrid algorithm which is combined SA with GA by analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of two algorithms. In the process of the construction of GSA, there are two kinds of combination of ideas with which to sovle above mathematical models and give detailed analyses. Finally,combined with the practical application, design and simulate programs in MATLAB environment with different algorithms.The proposed algorithm finds the shortest path for stacker, and proves that the algorithm was correct and effective.(3) Use kingview to optimize the existing automated warehouse monitoring system at the North University of China. Establish stacker operation monitoring system, through which to introduce into the shortest path from the proposed algorithm. Control stacker follow this path to pick scheduling which could verify the practical application of the proposed algorithm.The system can monitor stacker operation dynamically, control the “start” or “stop” button, view and output stacker running path real-time. So the monitoring system integrates management and control togerther.
