With the development of its technologies and services, IP network has evolved from a best-effort-delivery network into a broadband network of multiply and categorized services and multi-layered structures, its services being expanded from the simple Internet service to multi-media, voice and streaming media, etc. These applications changes pose grave challenges to the management and maintenance of the network. This paper takes the management and application of a large domestic enterprise network as the background and conducts technical research primarily into three areas of the network, namely its visualized management, its intelligent fault diagnosis and its security shielding and auditing in data transmission. The paper is composed of the these critical parts: the background, the research on the critical technologies, the analysis of demand on the system, the design and realization of the system, and the application of the system, etc. The following part elaborates the key techniques and solutions concerning the three areas mentioned above.First of all, based on SNMP-and-Net Flow-based technical research on data acquisition, the paper visualizes the environment of the server room, the operational status of the network equipment, the data traffic at critical points, the quality of key application services, and the reliability of data transmission, with the help of virtual reality, RRDTOOL and unity3 D. The thesis strives to have a real-time, accurate,comprehensive view of the actual operation conditions of the network and to make it possible to fully analyze and display the network’s comprehensive operation conditions through the OSI reference model 2 to 7 layers. Therefore, it enables the managerial staff to grasp the network’s operation conditions from both the micro and macro perspectives and to keep the network in its health and cloud form, thus providing the customers with quality services.Secondly, the paper analyzes in detail the faults occurring in the large network composed of Huawei switches and develops a production-based intelligent fault diagnosis and repair system based on AI technology. Through the analysis of the engineers’ expertise and the faults in the professional network management system,the paper establishes a fault diagnosis and repair model for dedicated networks and applies the production rule to have these long-practiced expertise classified andorganized into a useful expertise database. With the help of such a database, the whole network will be immune to the past faults. Even if the network should suffer any accident, it is capable of recovery in a short time. This deepens the intelligent management of the network and saves a huge amount of human resources.Finally, the paper proposes, at the request of a dedicated network having special security requirements in network data transmission, a network security detection methods and a method for online monitor and analysis of the network service quality based on TCP credibility judgment. Through real-time collection of critical data,encrypted storage, audit analysis, and retrievability, the whole network will be upgraded in terms of data transmission. The above proposed method enable the network to detect a suspected attack and to make a quick response while the network’s normal services will not affected with the operation status being evaluated online. Accordingly, the security of the network data transmission is tightened from the audit perspective.
