With the rapid development of the concept of Internet of things, the Internet of things technology has been widely used in various fields. As part of the Internet of things technology, smart home concept is also attracted the attention of all parties. With the improvement of the level of material life, people’s demand for home equipment automation is also increasing, which is stimulating domestic and international smart home market. Thus, at home and abroad, the major internet companies and equipment manufacturers are put into the smart home industry chain. But careful analysis of the current overall development of smart home, there is more and more problems in the process of development of smart home. The most important problem is the network connection, as the key of smart home node information exchange is connected with the support, which network is used, which network topology is more appropriate the home environment, the humanized design of the products is considered in the choice of network products at the same time, which can not make the devices to access the network procedures too complex etc.. The other problem is the equipment for interconnection between the information, due to the lack of a unified protocol and the overall structure of the model inconsistent, the smart home products are independent form each other and between is not compatible, not friendly to achieve data exchange and information sharing. In order to solve the above problems, a complete set of smart home platform model is need to establish, and with the development and improvement of the platform model, so that the whole industry can make the whole industry rapid development.In this thesis,the problem based on the current intelligent home system in the field of the actual equipment control is dicussed,and a smart home system control platform is trying to be established. First on the basis for the establishment of a smart home system model, improve equipment between point to point interaction protocol, so that between each equipment within the home regular information interaction and through the gateway node and external network interact. And then based on the analysis and abstraction of the equipment interaction in the control system, the appropriate equipment interaction model is established. Taking into account the current equipment node resources, select the Co AP protocol framework as the basis for the implementation of the entire control program application layer protocol architecture. For the sake of home network scalability, extensibility and reliability considerations, selected based on power line carrier communication technology of network connections, and in the power line network design verification of the smart home control system scheme of the completeness and robustness.
