Mould industry is the important basic of modern manufacturing. Mould orders need to be designed by technical department before the production. Design is prior to and service to production. In other words, Long time in design will seriously affect the remaining buffer time of mould production, and may eventually lead to the tardiness of the mould production. Mould manufacturing is a typical manufacturing model with make-to-order, single piece and small batch. Meanwhile, mould design is a complicated process. It is not only with numerous design task and long design cycle, but almost every design of a set of moulds is a new design. In addition, there is also exist the question of client’s confirmation in the process of mould design. Namely, in some aspects of mould design, designed content needs send to customers for confirm. Due the required time and times of the customer’s confirmation is uncertain, the finish time of design project is not controllable.This thesis will study the influence of design rework on tardiness total cost of mould design project, and effective strategy for mould design project control in mould design process. The concrete content as follows:(1) Analyzed the influence of design rework on tardiness total cost of mould design project by simulation.With background of project management in mould design, this thesis analyzes the characteristics of project management in mould design and the problems which it faced by. Established simulation models of mould design project. According to the needs of simulation research, the credibility of the simulation system was analyzed. This thesis proposes an method for least simulation times which can ensure the credibility of the simulation system and the precision of confidence interval of simulation results. The proposed method is verified. Reasonable classification of study scene and research object’s status was made according to the actual situation of the research object. Randomly generated case of mould design project.Three classical priority rules are selected as the simulation strategy of project group. Anumbers of simulation experiments are designed. Some conclusion of the influence of design rework on tardiness total cost of mould design project was obtained.(2) Established a control strategy for static mould design project group with repair.The stochastic scheduling problem of a static mould design project was described. And a simplified method based on project scheduling strategy and its application mechanism was proposed.The feasibility of using genetic algorithm to solve the scheduling strategy of the project was analyzed.And constructed the specific genetic algorithm.The corresponding calculation example was designed. Moreover, compared the solution results of the sorting strategy obtained by genetic algorithm with the results of the corresponding strategies of the five priority rules. Result shows that ranking strategy of genetic algorithm can obtain a better solution than the control strategy based on priority rules. At the same time it can effectively solve the control problem of static mould design project group.(3Established a control strategy for dynamical mould design project group with repair. The dynamic stochastic scheduling problem of mould design project was described. And, the domestic and foreign research status of dynamic scheduling problem is introduced. Meanwhile,the main factors that affecting tardiness total cost of mould design project were analyzed during the dynamic scheduling of the mould design project. Moreover, a heuristic algorithm was proposed based on the analysis WPR. And on this basis,an improved heuristic algorithm IWPR which combining WPR rule and dynamic scheduling strategy was proposed. Finally, a computational experiment is designed. The results show that the proposed heuristic algorithm WPR and the improved heuristic algorithm IWPR can effectively solve the dynamic control problem of the mould design project.(4) On the basis of analysis and research on the relevant problems of the design project scheduling. This thesis introduces a general scheme of designing and developing the "Mould design management system" by using C# development language and Server SQL database. Meanwhile,the process of requirement analysis, design of function module, establishment of database model, building of general frame and so on were described in detail. Moreover, This system has been successfully applied in a large domestic mould enterprise. And it plays an important role in it’s enterprise Informationization. This information system solutions can provide reference and reference for relevant mould enterprises.This thesis studied the influence of design rework on tardiness total cost of mould design project in mould design process. And a model for the simulation analysis of mould design project was established. At the same time, a sort of control strategy for the static mould design project group, as well as a dynamic mould design project group of the heuristic algorithm WPR and its improved algorithm IWPR were established. In addition, the developing process of "Mould design project management system" be respectively introduced. Furthermore, it can provide reference and reference for relevant mould enterprises.
