| Synthetic aperture radar (synthetic aperture radar, SAR), is a kind of advanced active microwave remote sensors, more than a day, all-weather, multi-polarization, frequency and multiple points of view, and many other advantages, and have ability to wear through clouds and fogs, has been widely used in remote sensing of the earth, surveying and mapping and exploration target detection, classification and recognition, etc.Using SAR data to carry out the ship target detection and target characteristic database construction to improve the level of the application of SAR data plays an important role. This paper, by using SAR data to carry out the following research work:(1)To improve the ship detection performances under complex environments in SAR images, the thesis proposes a method based on Rice-CFAR. Firstly, we investigate the statistical characteristics of sea clutter in SAR images under different polarimetric modes, radar frequencies, resolutions and sea conditions. The effectiveness of Rice modle is validated to describe sea conditions based on extensive experiments. Finally, Rice-CFAR is proposed to detect ships in SAR images.(2) The sea ship target detection experiments. Has carried out two maritime ship target detection experiments, experimental area of Bohai Sea. And AIS for spaceborne SAR using Radarsat 2 collaborative detection method, obtain the synchronization of the spaceborne SAR and AIS data, for the application of ship target detection study provides important experimental validation data, to obtain a large amount of data for SAR targets at the same time the construction of characteristic database provides data base.(3) SAR target feature database software system development. Using the current existing SAR satellite data, and the perspective of land from the sea, build the target different object types, different polarization mode, different incident Angle of SAR target scattering characteristic data, SAR target feature database software system is established. |
