Conjugated semiconducting polymers, by virtue of its excellent electrical properties, is widely used in organic thin-film transistors, organic photovoltaic cells, organic light-emitting diodes and other fields. The polythiophene and its derivatives is a kind of conductive polymers as easy preparation and better stability. It is a very popular polymer semiconductor materials. Allenes reported bearing double bonds in the molecular structure. Though 1,2 or/and 2,3 polymerization of the cumulative double bonds. This novel structure is expected to endow polymers with special performance, as to provide a wider selection of the functional polythiophene materials.In this paper, we used Ni(dppp)Cl2 as the single catalyst. synthesized the Ni(Ⅱ)-terminated P3HT via the Ni-catalyzed Grignard metathesis(GRIM), then we keep the reaction system and sequentially feeding the allenes and the thiophene. Finally we got poly(3-hexylythiophenes)-b-poly(alkoxyallenes)-b-poly(3-hexylythiophenes) triblock copolymers. We obtain copolymers,which were obtained in relatively low polydispersitises and Mn’s proportional rely to the feed ratio of monomer to initiator. And then we prove that this polymerization is living and controlled polymerization. We using the size exclusion chromatography(SEC) and the 1HNMR and FT-IR to monitor the reaction process and characterization of the compounds. We used the UV-Vis, DTG,DSC to analysis the properties of the polymers.The bottom gate and top contact organic thin-film transistor based on the block copolymer were prepared by spin coating. We study on the influence of the OTFT performance with the different thermal annealing temperatures. And we also study the influence of the OTFT performance with the different block ratio of P3HT and PHA under the same molecular and different molecular under the same block ratio of P3HT and PHA. We used the TEM to analysis the structures of the copolymer thin-films. Trying to figure out the carrier transport mechanism of the copolymer thin-films.
