As the latest commercial calculation model in the age of the Internet, cloud computing is a large-scale distributed computing system which provided the majority of users with a variety of applications and IT service thought the network. Now based on the existing huge IT infrastructure, some large enterprises or organizations especially in temblor data processing industry, want to build a private cloud environment.This paper is studying in the private cloud oriented temblor tasks processing platform, with the number of temblor tasks which is submitted increasing, because of a lack of monitoring information in detail and the design of the original task scheduling strategy, users can’t effective management node resources and temblor tasks, and also can’t realize reasonable scheduling operation for the temblor tasks, which cause the waste of node resources and the inefficient rate of the platform processing temblor tasks.According to the above problem, in the private cloud oriented temblor tasks processing platform, this paper designs the monitoring system and task scheduling strategy which is Applicable to the platform, through to get and manage node resources of the private cloud environment. My works include:(1) Researching the current techniques of monitoring system,this paper designs and realize the monitoring system which use in the private cloud oriented temblor tasks processing platform, and completes functions of collecting, managing and displaying the monitoring information of the whole private cloud environment. By using the unified communication interface and transport protocol, this paper realizes monitor the software and hardware resources of the nodes and the information of temblor tasks running status dynamically, and provide a convenient for administrators and users to manage and monitor the node resource and temblor tasks.(2) Based on the resources which provided by the monitoring system and Genetic algorithm, This paper designs a task scheduling strategy which is suitable for this platform, according to the characteristics of temblor tasks and the demand of practical application. This task scheduling strategy can achieve the goal of load balancing for the cloud environment, using the shortest time of job completion, and use the resources of the private cloud environment efficiently and improve the ability of handling the temblor tasks.(3) In the private cloud oriented actual temblor tasks processing platform, we test the monitoring system and task scheduling strategy. Through testing the monitoring system show that system can achieve good stability and scalability, and low load of the private cloud environment. Compared with the original strategy, testing the task scheduling strategy show that the new load balancing scheduling strategy can achieve the goal of load balancing in cloud environment and the shortest completion time of seismic job.To sum up, the monitoring system and task scheduling strategy which this paper designs cam achieve higher resource utilization efficiency, and greatly improve the work rate of the platform to handle seismic.
