In recent years, with the continuous development of wireless communication technology, the progress of the field of communication industry has been promoted. The satellite navigation system as an important direction, is constantly upgrading. Not only the satellite navigation positioning systems meet the needs of the military and civilian use more and more widely, many countries also have joined the independent research and development of the ranks of their own satellite navigation positioning systems. Antenna as an important part in satellite navigation system, its performance will directly affect the realization of the function of the satellite navigation system. Therefore, the research of satellite navigation antenna has been widely concerned, and has developed a variety of types of antenna, to meet the needs of various applications in different environments. As an independent subject, microstrip antenna has been widely used in the industry for its special advantages, such as its structure and performance, which can meet the application requirements of various occasions, In this paper, microstrip antenna using a coaxial probe fed microstrip patch antenna as the main research topic, the main design of the two dual frequency circularly polarized microstrip patch antenna is introduced, covering L1 and L2 band of the current GPS/GLONASS/Galileo/BeiDou four satellite system, in the use of circular polarization communication signal of satellite navigation positioning system. After some theoretical analysis and with the aid of the calculation of electromagnetic simulation software, a novel wideband and dual band circular polarization satellite navigation patch antenna is introduced and manufactured. Mean while, a double dual band circular polarization satellite navigation patch antenna through the preliminary design of the theory and software simulation calculation of optimization is designed. The theoretical analysis of the radiation of double antenna dual band circularly polarized patch antenna of satellite navigation is introduced. Also after an optimization of two orthogonal hybrid network design, which is used to set up the antenna feeding circuit network, the two feed points in upper and lower layer respectively can realize 90 degree phase shifter, to achieve circular polarization antenna radiation. Through the simulation calculation, the antenna can cover four satellite systems required for L1 and L2 band with high gain and good axial ratio, and the dual band circular polarization antenna is thus achieved.Design on a double dual band circular polarization satellite navigation patch antenna is proposed. With a special slot coupling, it makes the single patch antenna producing two bands of radiation, achieving the miniaturization of the antenna patch. As the coverage of high frequency owns high bandwidth and therefore the wide-band characteristics of antenna is realized. This antenna uses a four feed point 90 degree phase shift feed to achieve the circular polarization of the antenna radiation. In this paper, a corresponding analysis is made on the construction of the feed circuit network, and a quadrifilar directional coupler is used as the main component of the network. Based on the simulation and optimization of the antenna radiation patch, antenna radiation patch applying the feed circuit are manufactured and tested, and the simulation data are compared and analyzed after. As a receiving antenna of satellite navigation and positioning system, in addition to meet the need of performance of gain, bandwidth and circular polarization, in order to maintain the stability and high accuracy of positioning function, the antennas are needed to maintain a stable phase center. In this paper, based on the finite difference method of electromagnetic simulation software CST Microwave Studio, the novel dual band circular polarization satellite navigation patch antenna phase center were correspondingly theoretical analyzed and simulation calculated, showing that this kind of antenna has a relatively stable phase center.
